Below you will find a list of websites and search tools for finding local providers, as well as administrative information about my practice closure. I plan to keep this website active for at least several years following the closure.

Clinical Resources

This first set of websites are professional organizations, each of which has a tool for finding local providers. Professional organizations are a great resource for finding providers with particular skills, specialties, and theoretical backgrounds.

Capital Area Psychological Association
Austin Psychoanalytic
Austin In Connection
Austin Group Psychotherapy Society
American Society for Reproductive Medicine

This second set of websites are search tools, which can be useful for finding providers who work with specific issues, take particular insurances, offer sliding scale services, or practice in specific parts of town.

Psychology Today
Open Path Collective

This final set of websites may be helpful for someone experiencing a mental health crisis, when the crisis is not an emergency (in an emergency one should go to the nearest emergency room or call 911). These resources are available to all individuals, regardless of ability to pay.

Integral Care Crisis Hotline
National Suicide Prevention Lifeline

Administrative Information

In this section, I provide answers to common questions when a practice closes.

Some therapists choose to keep in touch with former clients or to connect over social media after a certain amount of time has passed, but I've decided not to do this because I believe it has the potential to negatively impact the therapy experience. However if we run into each other in public, you are welcome to say hello and I will respond in kind. Although I am no longer practicing as a psychologist, I will remain available for administrative needs and can currently be reached by phone at 698-0294 or fax at 828-0880 (to prevent spam the area codes have been moved here: P-512, F-855). Since I'm no longer practicing, however, I won't be able to discuss therapeutic issues or concerns. Please note that my contact information is subject to change, so check back for updates before reaching out. If there are any administrative changes or updates that would be relevant to former clients or colleagues, I will post them here for as long as this website remains active.

In Closing

I have a great deal of appreciation for the trust clients placed in me over the years, and I'm grateful for the meaningful experiences we shared. Thank you for trusting me to be part of your journey, and for being a part of mine.

Best wishes,
Mandy Blott, Ph.D.
